Hypnosis Show Outline

1. The audience is educated about the truth of hypnosis and the power of their minds with experiments they can all participate in from their seats.

2. A call for volunteers is made and the volunteers are seated facing the audience in a half-moon circle. The induction is presented to hypnotize the on-stage participants.

3. After the induction, the on-stage, hypnotized individuals perform fun skits that are hilarious and safe, but not embarrassing or offensive.

Examples: each hypnotized volunteer is given their dream automobile to cruise. As they do, they wave to their friends, fix their hair and enjoy the music.

In another skit, they all go to a movie where they laugh harder than ever before, then quickly change emotions as the movie gets sad. Everyone ends happy as the emotion again changes for the better.

In other skits, individual talents are highlighted as hypnotized individuals are turned into current television stars or hot pop singers.

4. The show ends as all the participants, who have demonstrated wonderful creativity and imagination throughout the program, are awakened and showered with applause from the audience.

Q: What makes James Munsey's show different from other stage hypnotic shows?
A: There are 3 very important distinctions:

1. We are a duo program.  In other words, you receive a show, not just a presenter.

Have you ever seen one of those hypnotic shows where the hypnotist is:
  • Running production with a remote control?
  • Striking props?
  • Dividing his attention to juggling all the technical aspects of the show and trying to keep the students' attention at the same time?

You won't find that with The James Munsey Comedy Hypnosis Show.
  • James is the comedy hypnotist and focuses on one thing - entertaining your employees!
  • Kathryn, his wife, supports his duties and assists with every show.

2. The style of our show makes us unique. We offer a modern, attention-grabbing, hilarious and appropriate show for corporations! We keep the attendees focused and manage the audience and participants with an entertaining and interactive program.

3. You can take pleasure in knowing James Munsey:

  • Is the author of the book "All About Hypnosis"
  • Has written and recorded many self-hypnosis programs helping people around the world.
  • Was trained and mentored in Las Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the World, by one of the most well-known and respected hypnotists in the country.

Q: Is hypnosis safe?
A: Hypnosis is absolutely safe.  While hypnosis itself is 100% safe, during any audience participation program it's possible to have a normal on-stage accident. For instance, spraining an ankle, etc.

You should know, James' show has never had an accident that required medical attention. And while we certainly don't ever expect to, you can rest assured that we take every precaution to ensure everyone's well being. Here is how:

  • In addition to James, Kathryn is at every show to provide support and keep an eye on participants to help avoid accidents before they happen.

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we carry a $2,000,000 liability policy. Back To Questions

Q: Have you ever had an accident?
A: No, not that required medical attention. The worst thing that has ever happened was a nose bleed, which was a frequent occurrence for the individual. The bleeding was stopped immediately and was not a disruption. Back To Questions

Q: How do you choose the volunteers?
A: Volunteers are just that, volunteers!  After the introduction, audience members come on stage on a first-come first-served basis to be the stars of the show (limited only by the number of seats on stage, usually up to 20).  There's never any pressure to come up on stage and people will line up anxiously to participate in this incredible experience.  Back To Questions

Q: How long is the program?
A: The running time is generally between 60 and 90 minutes and can be adjusted as necessary based on your needs. Back To Questions

Q: Will the hypnotized volunteers be out of control?
A: The volunteers will NOT be out of control at all. They will be well managed and in control the entire time. Back To Questions

Q: Can someone get stuck in a trance state?
A: No, that is impossible. Back To Questions
